I keep going round in circles with my thoughts on BF.... To start with, the build quality issues really put me off, then I was assured those were sorted so I started to warm to the idea again. Now the customer service issue keeps coming up, along with new (rattle) quality issues.
The price of them alone almost makes them worth a punt, but now companys like Piper are developing an exhaust, BF are going to find it much harder to compete. Piper's quality is always spot on, customer service is great and their prices are always good too.
Bang on Rob.
I can handle the suspect quality (dodgy welding, cracking, rattles, noisey ovals etc) if they put it right when you reported it, but they dont, they just fob you off.
If I hadnt already bought it, I would now be waiting to see what other companies come up with.
My advice to people thinking about changing their exhausts is hang on for a while and do your research !!
trying hard not to have doubts in my mind, but you are putting them in my mind![]()
well....I have made enough effort for the BF gorup buy, so seriously hope it pays off
I can only hope tinbum that they have rectified these issues....![]()
Well I hope for the guys that have done the group buy that they have rectified the issues. In fairness (not that it should matter) I bought my system probably 18mnths ago, so things might have changed by now, but generally I thought that BF were pretty shocking to deal with..............![]()
Maybe Nigel should start joining these forums and check out what people think, but from what I've heard recently, they cant even be bothered to answer theirphone !!!.........lol
Keep up us updated HarveyGTI... you obviously want this to work out as much as we do for you, but I'm sure I'm not alone in being interested in the outcome![]()
I got a blueflame for my lc and i does sound amazing, only problem ive had is that one of the welds is blowing, only slightly, and my back box seems to sit a little to low, i can't be bothered sorting this out yet though as im lazy!! lol Visually though the quality is spot on. i like it alot![]()

Not to mention the fact that this exhaust managed to get past quality control. I mean, surely exhausts like this that cost hundreds of pounds will at least be checked and tested before being sent out to the paying customer?
Ummmmmm makes you wonder doesnt it bud !!
I bet if he called them to try and sort it, they would mug him off with some story about kids putting stones in the end or something totally random !!!
Yes mate, bunch of cowboys !!
