Bill i didnt fill it with silicone no way wud i do that.
i just moved the clips down as it wasnt in rite they were to far up if u get me its a snug fit no tho.

Them clips were tight any since i moved the acutor the 4th gear run low down i havent got a code....and holding 16psi

why is the silicon hose bulging?

it should be cut to the right length dude..

you need to make a bung for each end and try to pressurise the system and go looking for leaks.

someone posted a picture of a B&Q type pipe bung and one tapped for a pressure fitting, so you can pump up the system.. turbo outlet to pipe to throttle.

As o put the Clips to far up the pipe so not holding it probely...Ive done it right now tho...

Could u explain abit more about DIY Pressurizing the system?

since ive adjusted my actuator its going alot better and the psi is up also...

1st gear is hitting 14psi and holding and 2nd gear 16psi and holding and 3rd 4th and 5th its hitting 18-19psi and holding 17psi..

Gonna do some logs which blocks do i need?
 
1- Get the right size silicone pipes for the metal section or a bigger metal section. The amount of pressure on those boost pipes and with them done up like that which was suggested to you by somebiody that works in a garage is appauling!

2- Like Bill said make a bung for each end and pressure test it.

Wouldnt adjust anything else until you have this sorted. The smallest gap where the jubilee clips are could be the leak which is causing your boost problem. No point adjusting your actuator to overcome a problem elsewhere. That would be almost as bad as using silicone to try to seal a pipe thats big with a smaller one...almost! What do you think will happen if any of that silicone gets sucked into the boost pipe and into your turbo/engine?

Ive checked all the hoses and tbh thats the main one i just need to get hold of ID 63mm pipe around 500mm long if that...
Ive also bought a Forge Tip aswell...

So are you lot saying no matter what i should be hittin peak 21psi....Then what ever it holds...

Just bought a 2ft 63mm ally pipe for 20quid so i can sort that pipe out..

got my new 63mm alloys pipe which is the right size and a big bag of jubliee clips...

Also even with the actutator adjusted it still give the same limp mode code..
Am gonna try and wip the new one 2morro after work...
 
not sure why the actuator was adjusted as it was set to standard when i sold it to you

are the actuators on the k03s's normally adjusted when mapped?

as said, winding the actuator to account for an issue somewhere else, bit similar to mine, until Bill found some issues with the loose pipes etc

Am gonna Fit the new pipe 2morro as i don't have time tonight and the actuator is the way it was before...
A few months back when i was killing it..I heard a pop then it didnt feel as quick on my k03...Now am getting people of ed38 and a few searches ive be doing lately sayin coilpack?
fair enough am gonna get the new pipe on then take it from there but could it be a coilpack?ive never had a EML or Code for them..


Edit: Just spoke to curzon if i have no cf's then my coilpack are fine is that correct?

If it popped a few months ago mate it would of said by now, it would also be mis firing and its not at all its just not boosting right, and i did say its not likely, but not impossible mate

Gonna get that pipe on...lets say if my Dv hose is split or pipes goin from the Oil cap think on the tip is split would that still make me loose boost..?I mean can the oil cap go round either way?
Dont forget i have a ATP one
 
Have no idea to be honest mate, but its only two jubilee clips so just swap it round and see what happens, as we both had no idea when you came to put it back on lol
I doubt the pipes to the mushroom thing will be split mate as its that reinforced flexi hose, but just check them over just to be on the safe side
Or better still rip it all out and fit a catch tank to get rid of them manky pipes :D

Ive got that standard DV line if you wanna try that mate, just to rule that out too?

Just bought a forge one...So will fit that tuesday wen it gets here..

And yesterday i had my ABS and TCS light on the dash which stayed on for around 20mins then i turned the car off then they went away...
Also with the acutator adjusted i still go in to limp mode same as before

Deffo worth trying another MAF mate. Can you not just borrow one to try?

Cant believe you anint tryed a different MAF yet bud.
 
lol. Have you checked the clip holding the MAF to the TIP? Might be worth checking before you change the whole TIP.
