k04 turbo upgrade help

hi i am thinking of putting a k04 turbo in to my cupra is this an easy process and would anything else need up rating eg fuel pump ....

Not worth it as its too big a job for the benefits. Look into the KO4-001 which is a hybrid KO3 turbo that fits to your set up easily and will be better than the KO4. Also look at KO4-001 exhaust manifold from INA

yeah it was actuallt the k04-100 that i am looking at would this be an easy job

What kind of power would you expect with this KO4 001 with the mods listed on the backdraft site?

well the site that im looking at the turbo says increases bhp to 240-250 but doesnt say about any other mods but would expect more if you do all the backdraft mods and a stage 2 map

I'd say so you can get 235-240 from the ko3s with a decent map and supporting mods.

I guess you'd need bigger injectors, MAF, fuel pump etc to get any more power.

With a KO4-001 you could expect 260BHP safely.
