hello

previously
it only used to do it when turning right
i would turn then when i get a certain point in the turn it would go ding.
it sounds like its coming from the track rod end ish area

then lately its being doing it both sides
but more frequently when i turn
and when id do reversing into spots its more dink dink dink dink.

i had my mot last week so its nothing that would fail on mot.
any ideas?

I would suggest have someone turning the wheel and you get underneath and try and find where its coming from

Any common things should have been spotted at mot you would have thought

Check topmounts too, Lad i bought my old VTS off had very similar problem thinking of it now and his topmounts were slightly loose iirc

I jacked up front end nd nothing was loose. I didn't check topmounts. How do u do it? Remove coilover nd check

it still made the noise when i had my standard suspension on and old top mounts.

well i can actually hear the noise from the lower region and not the top strut region.

how could i check that its hub/wheel bearing?

it does it when going up and down and when turning fast both sides now?
would this be the rubber top mount?
