think its more the map...the hybrid prob max out at about 300 mark like the k03 stage 1 is 200 but max is only 210...

I dont agree.
these are going to be 270bhp region turbo's give or take a little bit imho.. not 300bhp unless you find a really happy dyno somewhere.

Is that 270bhp mapped with reliability in mind aswell though...obviously you no more than me but just seen some quotes about mentioning 280's do you not think k04 internals are capable of flowing upto 300bhp if maxed right out or is around 280 about the limit..??

pushed too hard they are heat pumps, they wont flow well enough for the 300bhp level, I still just dont see how they would..

I am not going to push one to destruction to find out personally. Someone else can try that. The tendancy for these is to want to spike, which is bad news for engine internals, as well as itself. curbing its spikey nature to overall spool, and where it just goes superhot trying to deliver, is pushing its luck imho. the 1.4bar region to 6krpm is about its limit from the couple I have seen so far. you get a nice fast spooling 2.5krpm to 6krpm power band with bags of torque.. chasing the bhp numbers is up to those with a bunch of other mods like wmi etc I think. without it, I think these things will nuke themselves on higher levels.

Try a pressure test mate, Bill uses a good way with a foot pump i think, there supposed to start opening between 13-15psi.

What are you boosting too?

Yeah DPJ showed me a way to do a pressure test with a foot pump, is there any way to tell if the actuator is weak or is it pot luck with getting a new one?

it boost to about 1.4-1.5bar but then drops quickly down to 1.1-1.0bar

I have a pressure test pump, not foot pump.. lol
same kind as forge use to check their DV's and actuators.. as thats where I saw it.

mityvac pressure/vacuum pump.
extremely handy piece of kit for diagnosing all sorts of things.

LOL, louder is a understatment! I even PM`d Bill to ask if jamie B`s turbo whistle was loud as i was worried i may of had a leak!

Just got back in from abit of a drive and im still loving it!

I was driving it yesterday, and thought that it was leaking, but no, its just bloody loud!!:D

the sound in spool in 2nd gear and when it pins you back is awesome

in the lower gears (cant test in 2nd or 3rd, having to hold on!), like 4th/5th it goes to 1.4bar, and then sits at 1.3 till the redline. The difference on mine is it does not spike like Benny's due to 19mm pins standard on the leon and the ibiza runs 20mm pins, engine preservation is the key thing here

however, boost is not everything, its how it runs. the fact that it sustains the boost IMO is the key to it driving well and where it differs from a normal k03s

I think another comparison here between the ibiza hybrid and yours, is the charge pipework and intercoolers. I would not be surprised if the leon one flowed better with its huge intercooler, and larger pipework, compared to the one on bennys.. (hence showing more reported held boost, but possibly not neccessarily flow. more flow is what would make more power in such a comparison
