Nice LCR fella, love the wheels. Thinking of a similar colour for my wheels. It would look hard as nail with a modest drop!

Cheers dude. They look awsome in the sun. Funny you should say that as my coilovers are on order and I will be fitting them within the next few weeks :)

Yeh man. It needs to be lower as it's on front and rear strut braces ATM and it's real twitchy in the bends. A touch lower to earth it'll be awsome handling wise. I went for AP coilovers and I'll be rebuilding the whole top mount construction with new OEM parts.

With front and rear strut braces that's going to handle lovely. Heard some good things about AP coilovers.

Get some pictures up as soon as you've got them fitted!

Yeh I was fortunate to have a decent budget for suspension but for under £400, AP seem great. I went out in Ape's which has the same set up and that felt perfect. Yeh man as soon as it's done I'll get the pics up :)

Yeh it's Ford Magnum Grey metallic. It's got a slight bluey tint which I wasn't expecting but I like how they turned out.

trust me bud, 25mm will still look low but the car will be fine sump wise, 30mm you are pushing it...anything more is a no no...

mine is around 25mm handles fantastic although im on KW V3s. It is a little hard, but when i get the time i will make them softer.

Hi Jay,

Lovely looking car mate. The colour of your wheels offers a really nice contrast to the colour of the car. Your cupboard of goodies looks brilliant!

The coilovers look very shinny! I would agree with Dolby but, it depends on what roads you drive, in my opinion. Some seem to have dropped their cars 50 - 60mm with no dramas. I personally think that that's too low from a practical point of view, although it can look great that low. I live in the sticks and the roads surrounding me are terrible country roads; at standard ride height, the engine floor cover catches all the time. I've had a set of coilovers sat in the shed for over a year whilst I've deliberated over fitting them. I will be but I'm only gonna drop it 20mm or so, until I grow the confidence to go lower.

Good luck with fiiting them mate :)

Cheers for the comment James. I'm looking to drop it around 30mm front and 20mm rear to begin with and see how I get on. I have fitted the rears but still waiting in my front top mount parts before I can build the front.
