No worries. Regarding the height, I'd probably say it's sitting around 40mm lower all round now at a guess:

Just to say, your car looks very clean and sits just perfectly, IMO. The rear is difficult to get right but you've definitely got it right.

What's next on the agenda mate?

El: Haha yeh mate it has been dropped a little since the nice pics so thats just to show how its currently sitting.

James: Ah cheers mate :) I love it, slightly nose heavy :) Lots of plans for new year time mainly custom exhaust system, DV and filter, rear ARB and liquid gauge. I've only had 4 months and already spend £1200 on it and that little list is prob another £800!!!

Update:

So I've got a few more bits for my LCR over the past few months. I got myself a Pioneer MVH-8200BT headunit. Really pleased with it and the iPhone control works a treat

Also got a Forge 007p DV. Can definately notice the difference in full load rev range now. However its almost silent? After my last car, I've really missed that pure turbo sound but with this, its no louder than standard? Oh well.

The EML came on too. Had it diagnosed and it came back coolant temperature sensor. So got a genuine one of those and chucked it in, sorted!

and finally, I have a cracked windscreen. Gutted but its being replaced on Saturday under my insurance

Cheers for looking. Jetex cone filter and Jabba heat shield are on order and should be on within the next 10 days. :)

Alright mate, I've just bought a plat grey LCR too. You'll see I've liked what you've done so far with the car..

Do you mind me asking where you got those R caps from?

Again, lovely clean example of the LCR.

Platinum LCR? AP Coilovers? Sounds rather like mine.......... ;)

Lovely car matey. Do love the colour of your wheels. Thinking of going darker with mine too when I finally get them refurbed.

Looking very good overall though this car.

The 007p will become ALOT louder with the jetex cone fitted. Also good man buying the jabba heatshield. I have that aswell, and it does a good job of keeping heat away from the filter. Plus it looks great.

When you eventually map the car (because you will trust me) you'll notice the DV will further increase in volume! Higher boost creates this and the jetex is even louder too. Mine sounds a bit crazy now with a the new Milltek Cupra R exhaust fitted recently too.

Keep up the great progress! I will be interested to see how you go down the engine tuning route... :)

You can fit the 007p the other way round to make it louder, turn it so the bottom connector is on the hose from the charge pipe and the side one is into the TIP :)

It will make a high pitch 'chirp' noise though. Ok if you like the sound of a strangled bird under your bonnet..

I know, I just said "louder", didn't say "better"! ;)

EDIT - should have said, I'm running mine like this for the moment cos its' been sticking lately, it's easier to hear what the valve is doing with it in reverse. Once I'm happy it's working properly again I'll probably turn it back the right way.

Haha, fair play..

I just heard one on a LC 180 and really wasn't impressed with the noise. But each to their own who run it in reverse 24/7.

Love mine now though with the jetex and higher boost from the stage 2 map.

Cheers for the comments lads. Yeh I guessed it would get louder with an open cone and with higher boost, that goes without saying!

Got my snow foam kit today. The lance is very well made and works a treat!
