**Did you log intake temps mate?

154gm/s @ 6400 is quite good tho mate, about 205bhpish (as an estimate from MAF figure).

**EDIT: I didn't scroll the log...

Temps look similar to our Blue Cupra's mate, thats running a laguna... rarely see over 30°, max about 35°... Good job! :D

I was hitting 70s on the old SMIC! I think the minimum I saw on it was about 43°, so maxing at 35° is a superb improvement for a £100 mod!

***did you do any request vs actual boost? to see if your loosing pressure etc.. ??

it looks like its doing its job, last time i went out in yours for logging you were in the 70's come 5k, staying in the late 30's at 7k now, jobs a gooden ;)

***EDIT i didnt scroll the log either

yea defanitly doing better than it did before feels quicker to now.

only had 1 problem when fitting with a pipe its to crushed at the min so gonna have to get a bigger bend in there.

cost me about 220 in total to do it in the end i think.

are you running stage 1 or stage 2? and what settings?

logs show that the intercooler is lot better than stock smic, 39s peak aint so bad

WG duty isnt so high though with those cfs it aint worth touching timing i dont think

it does seem to get warm still but its alto cooler than it ever used to be. maybe when i change that pipe may get abit better.

just need to get revo stage 2 on now and setup properly :)

does go well now had a play with a evo 320 and i was suprised at the diffrance its made

still running stage 1 a the min no idea what settings are as was maped on car when i got it and havent changed settings.

yea its defainly better than smic was gettign over 63 some times so have droped alot.

hoping when i get stage 2 on they will set it up properly for me as wasent running great before got low power when had it on rollers last time

Double

Too early on a Monday for us :roflmao:

Another succesful budget FMIC... nicely done buddy :D

Looking at the logs timing isn't an issue really, only getting slight pull on one cylinder... wonder if your settings are too low?

Mike

its not bad but increasing will likely turn those 3s on number two into 4 or 5 as well as pull on the others as well

personally i'd leave it looks alright

saying that, im still getting random pull (more than the above) after testing with lemmiwinks, only waited a couple days so might let it adapt for a week or so

looking at the timing logs i would advance the timing a bit as your intake temps are cooler now and basically no Cf's even at your peak intake temp of 39 degrees at 7080 rpm.
just keep an eye on the cf,s and intake temps when advancing the timing
the way i look at it is if your not pulling some Cf's then it's not working hard enough

ah easy 1 to change then will do it later and log again see if i can get it to go away.

i havent got a sps 3 to change my timing settings but if i did it on limewinks would it do the same thing as a sps?

Do you have an SPS2?

SPS2 will change you timing settings only, but its either 5 7 or 9 I think depending on what RON setting you choose....

Mike

lemmiwinks will do the same thing just remember to pull the instrument cluster fuse first. i think it's number 26. just advance it and extra +0.75 degrees then log timing pull and intake temps and see what difference it makes
