theyre not a requirement, just the back. i don't really find the standard front fogs very useful anyway, i feel the h.i.ds on their own work better in fog than the fog lights lol. and as for the fuzz, they'd already have me for led sides, hids and led number plate lights so i dont think it could be much worse having led fogs?

:)

so i think i jinxed it...pulled over on sunday night and again last night!!

sunday i was pulled for swerving to avoid a pothole/canyon! their advice was to slow down a bit and go through it! no chance!

last night i was pulled for the lack of reg plate on the front bumper, needless to say it is now back on haha!

they had a ful walk around the car last night and said nothing of leds/hids. infact the male officer complimented me on the car!! :D

I think fly eyes look rubbish up close. Lamin-x tints are a better option!

However I'm also bored of the 1.2... Was planning when I will upgrade to a mk4 FR/Cupra :p

Funnily enough, I can now insure a 4L chevvy Camaro for the same price as my current policy on my 1.2.
WTF.

All in all, I'm out of ideas for mods..

Agreed on the Lamin X, I was bored of my engine the day after I bought it two years ago... only bought it as it's cheap to run and insure.

chris, I have done some research on fr/cupra and the cupra tdi would be twice the amount to insure as the fr lmao...fr on the other hand is only 50 quid more than the 1.2!!!

don't think i'll bother tinting anymore, car's obviously starting to become a fuzz magnet!!!

new windscreen fitted today..don't ask haha!!

oh and, team heko wind deflectors comin this week and possibly some pressed plates next week!

Haha you pleb Lawrie

Tbh, I'll probably keep my 1.2 noobmobile till next year. If I go to Uni in Sept, there is no point having a nice fast FR/Cupra as it'll be sitting on the drive for several months at a time... Second Uni year will be the time to have a Cupra; not sure if it's a good idea in Manchester or not though...I quite like my alloys :p

Ouchy...you're not on your own policy? Mine was £2200 first policy, £1400 next, then £750-800 renewal in June. Lovin it :D

Don't you get any NCB at all? I know some insurers offer NCB to named drivers (valid with that company only).

:( nope, not my own policy. It would have been £2600 for me on my own policy, reason it's so much more than yours is because my postcode (an SK) is blacklisted due to the amount of claims from the area. There was a "crash for cash" scandal round here lately, involving some knobheads staging crashes. Twats.
