I suppose there's nothing to lose having a shot in someone else's :) did it affect your warranty in anyway?

Yeah you'll lose the warranty on your suspension but that's it and to be honest its not a big concern, suspension parts rarely fail. I've given mine hell over some bumpy as hell roads n it coped very well, wasn't as crashy as before, no broken spinal parts lop and its nowhere near low enough to bottom out

Checked the oil today, seems to have drank quite a bit but I'm praying it's just the engine braking in and not the dreaded issues! Going to top up with castrol edge 5w30 tomorrow and keep a close eye on it!

There meant to use a bit of oil anyway are they not?

Yeah there's an acceptable amount of oil usage in the first x amount of miles, the market was sitting bang on half way when I first got it home and it's now at minimum which seems a bit much for 1000 miles but I'll keep an eye on it once it topped up, hopefully it'll just use less and less as time goes on :)

Car's looking ace mate. I've had my Cupra from new since November and it used a fair bit of oil in the first few thousand miles as well. I reckon it used about a litre in the first 3k, its not used a drop since though and thats me at nearly 5k now.
