LC EML Light

EML light came on again last night, so i checked the codes with vagcom. It threw up the code for maf signal too low, but the maf was only replaced last month. Is there anything else I need to look out for?

Were codes cleared after the Maf was replaced?

Yeah codes were cleared

Something wrong with the new one then - what was the code?

Can't remember off hand but it was the same code that came up before I changed the maf.

I'd be checking the wiring then carefully.

not all up on this 20v vagcom voodoo myself fully sorry but wasn't there a test log you could run to check the maf ???

Yeah there is, will get a test run asap. But i'm fairly sure its not the maf, its brand new, and i was very careful with fitting

Mate you cant rule it out until its been tested ... get it on VAGCOM and log the MAF and see how its running first

Run block 002 in 3rd gear to red line ...

Ok what kind of figures should i expect. It's running a jetex 07003 filter

A good figure for a standard LC should be around 150-160g/s

My custom remapped LC gives 170-180g/s
