Update

So I made a minor error with the fitting of the dump valve thanks to the non instructed box I made the assumption that the d/v stood up like a 007p rather than lay on it's side lol my bad all corrected now and whilst I was under the bonnet and eagerly awaiting payday i thought i would invest in a small modification in which I must say was 110 % worth every penny the boost is stronger car nippier, turbo build up and d/v ALOT louder and all for about £7 I partook in the N249 bypass :funk::D

What K&N filter are you using? I'm after a Jetex too, but only K&N filters are sold by the local dealer here. :(

New Discs and pads

Well the other day on the way to work i heard a nasty screech noise from the front brakes and as i got out of the car i noticed a fresh score mark around the discs as the pads had started to reach the metal....WOOPS :( but it was about time she had new discs and pads so after much reading up I decided to go with grooved and dimpled discs and Ferodo ds2500 brake pads :D

At some point i will get round to refurbing the calipers as they have faded :censored: but next on the list is the Milltek cat back non resonated exhaust system,I will upload the photo's A.S.A.P :D

I'm not keen on the rear lights atall, seem a bit chavtastic imo. But, if you like it, its all that matters. I'm sure my car isnt to everyones taste.

The badger 5 tip is well worth the money.

Would rather sfs tip due to i've seen the badger 5 tips fitted and they seem a bit of a bodge tbh I did look at them but the more I read the less I liked it because there is no point having power without reliability.I like the lights because there different not the same as everybody elses and there NOT lexus lights which are chavvy if you ask me most people use tights to cover there lights also chavvy thanks for the negative opinion :D

No problem mate, finally I've managed to order a Jetex filter from PartBox. I couldn't find a proper K&N filter which is not the 57i kit and fits directly to the LCR's MAF. :(

I already have a heatshield (this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140756924384), I think it's similar to the shield Badger5 offers.

I'm going to start a RR thread after the filter arrives, I've got many plans with the car. :D The only thing is that I've only made a few modifications yet (audio system, new DV, N249 bypass), but more to come... :)

Although I'm not the fan of those tinted rear lights, I really like the stealth style. :) Especially the Neverbin' sticker on the back.

Have you considered removing the Cupra badges? I'm thinking about the reverse of this, for my yellow color the stealth project won't work I think (I have no badges now, bought the car without them).

Nice car man. Dumbass question here but is it a straight forward job doing the towstrap??

---
I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?gu3ox3
Sent from my iPhone when I should be working....

Hey it's not to bad to be honest i did mine more for show but it does tow well aswell (only due to a quick test lol).It would be easier with pictures but I can explain it :

1.Buy a spare tow eye of fleebay(as it is illegal to tow on the road with a strap so helps having a tow eye for towing occasions)
2.You have to remove the tow eye and a section of the bar so screw tow eye all the way in and measure with the hinge of the tow strap roughly how far you want it petruding your honeycom.
3.Once you have your mark cut the tow eye side off and keep your thread side of the mark.
4.File bar end level, take appropriate size drill bit (8.25mm for 1.75mm pitch threador 8.5mm for 1.5mm pitch thread and drill down the centre of the bar end long enough to place your chosen length bolt in.
5.Then take an appropriate tap (10mm)for your bolt thread enough that you can fix your bolt and tow strap to the end.
6.If you take a look at my pictures you will be able to see what section of honeycomb to remove so you can thread your strap through once fitted(I used a sharp stanley or you can use a model knife etc..

As an extra i also found a (30mm)nut bigger than the bar and drilled through the centre to make a sleeve for the bar, welded this so it was flush with the end of the bar and gave me an easier way of fixing as the tow eye is left handed thread and the bolt for your tow strap is right handed it allows you to ensure they are both tight.

Hope this helps Bret but there are other RR's that have pictures explaining there ways of doing it not all as safe though btw love your cupra R she looks shexxy :D

Yes i have just want to know the best way to remove them really not to sure and don't want to ruin paint :confused: you should have a transformers theme (bumblebee ;)) Only joking yeah I don't think stealth and bright yellow go somehow but you can still make her one of a kind :D

I've been running a badger 5 tip for 5 months now. Not had any issues, and ive had it off 2/3 times when I've done other bits and pieces. never had a problem putting it back or of it slipping.

Use a hairdryer and some dental floss. ;)

First I need to fix the paint, it started fading, the plastic parts' color don't really match the color of the metal ones. I don't really know what to do with this. :(

Is the SFS one compatible with LHD cars? The Badger5 TIP is only for RHD ones, and I'm in Hungary. :)

Cheers Bret man, will give it a go......oh and thanks.

Btw you mentioned refurbing your brembos (which im gonna do too) but did you know as a short term fix, use T-cut red on the rears. I done mine years ago and the bright red, and heavy gloss lasts for AGES! Paint the front.....but t-cut the rears (unless of course there is paint coming off)
