Stage 2 update
Ok so it's bin a while but thought it about time I update my RR
So it was a cold Monday morning and I set off to Amd as I was booked in for :
Stage 2 custom re-map
Milltek 3" D/pipe and Decat
Polybush dogbone engine mounts(both)
Brake fuid service
Unfortunately half way down the M25 I noticed my clutch started to slip a little in 6th from low revvs so when I reached Amd I was a little nervy about getting a stage 2 as wasn't sure my clutch would survive.
After a short conversation and alot of reassurance from Shaun I decided to get the stage 2 done anyway and what a transformation
Some photos of the dyno print out before and after Stage 2
I must say although the curves not as smooth as it could be (due to the clutch

) I was really impressed with the figures it made considering and the drive home was AMAZING!!!Smooth, responsive a complete transformation and the bark of the full milltek system left me with a big grin all the way home
Before the map I managed to take a sneak peak at Amd's touring car this is a first for me as the last time I was there the beast was hid up.Managed to take a few snaps

:
Anyway back to results,I was impressed with the dog bone poly engine mount bushes the car felt more planted in acceleration and no wheel hop but I wont be able to see fully how good it is until I've replaced the clutch and flywheel this brings me on to my next part of my RR.
I've had alot of disscusion with Amd and several people via forums on what's the best uprated conversion and so far I'm toarn between two:
The sachs uprated clutch
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON...446&pid=100015&prg=1006&rk=1&sd=261060886677&
or the
Helix clutch kit

I've had alot of debate over the DMF(dual mass flywheel and SMF (single mass flywheel)
and have chose to stick with the Dmf to save the crank and gearbox and remove the possibility of vibrations but am still undecided on what clutch to have
Let me know what you think and let me know of your different experiences with these clutches as it would really
help
