I hate the orange game!
Over the last two weeks, a creaking has developed on the passenger side front of my LCR. But I can't fathom what is actually making the noise. It is mainly heard on setting off and slowing down, but can also be heard by compressing the passenger side front suspension (i.e bouncing on the front wing, or going over a speed bump).

It's getting louder and more frequent now too, and I really need to work out what it is.

I've checked the torque settings on the following:

Wheel bolts
Wishbone bolts
Hub bolts
ARB mounts (also ARB bushes were changed only a few months ago)
Engine mounts

Confused now.

You said you checked the torque on the engine mounts, you do know these are stretch bolts that need torqued and then rotated 90 degrees?
Sounds like it could be the top mounts/shocks.
You can pick up second hand LCR suspension every now and then, might be worth looking into that.
Top mount change will improve suspension over small bumps.
At 80,000 miles theres alot of the OEM bits that need freshened up
engine mounts, dog bone mount, top mounts, wish bone bushes.
you will notice a big difference with doing this but might not cure your problem

Mate, I have my old suspension available if you want it? Only came off the car last week.

been spending money have we jon?

I too have a strange creaking sound, but i've only done 50k
its coming from front, but has only been appearing when going over 70mph
i've noticed it more frequently at lower speeds now though

it doesn't seem connected to anything, some times i'll go over a small hump, and it will creak, other times it doesn't

i'll try bouncing on the front of the car at see if i can hear it, but if anyone has any thoughts please let me know
