LCR failed MOT on emissions - advice needed

did as everyone said got the exhaust roasting hot (up and down a dual carriageway at full chat numerous times) and it still failed although by some miracle when I got them to do a retest it passed but chances are it will fail again next year

so either my cat is knackered (BF system) or something else is wrong, possible air leak causing the system to overfuel (probably more likely as I keep getting a lambda fault code)

my emissions has just popped on! car has been running fine with no problems has been tested last month for its MOT and passed fine,

I just tried using the shell v-power last month, could this possibly account for this?????

Have you got the aircon/climate control on as this pushes the emissions up and should be tested with it off.
Just a small though but worth checking
