LCR Mirrors on LC

Whats the diff with them?
If i remember right, both are electric, headed and folding.
You get diff shapes is that what you mean?

mine don't...got a 53 plate LC
Ye same here 53 plate, must of changed during that year
Mine was a sept 1st model....how do you get the mirrors to fold, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
no some did some didnt was the turn of the year think sept as mine was registered 2002 in nov and didnt have them depends on month
Theres no diff between LCR and LC mirrors in shape,
The shape of all Leons changed in 03 or summit, from Golf Mk4 to Teardrop,
I personally think the mk4 ones suit the Leon better!

bcm there is a diff between lcr and lc mirrors have a look esp the earlier ones, one is teardrop one is square
Will have to try my mirrors out in abit. I know it's got some sort of mark on the joystick control at the 6'oclock point but don't know if the joystick twists that far
the mirrors are the same on the LC and LCR.
during 2003, they updated the teardrop shape for all leons.
this took place towards the end of the 210bhp LCRs.
ive had a LC and LCR and the mirrors are identical.
its the date of manufacture, not model spec that dictates if they are square or teardrop shape.
If you did want to swap from square to teardrop, its not a direct swap and the plastic trim on the car is also a different shape.
however i cant see it being more complicated than that.
Will give it a try when I finish work in a few moments.....will try not to force the joystick
