well had the car in to uncle arnolds today for warrenty work . said they wenrt fixing it cause my upper boost hoses and tip dv ect..... so am back to were i started. hears my prob while driving car seems not the have power it once had then soon as its goes past boost it judders real fast then theres no boost so while doing this my boost gauge just drops from like 12 psi to -20 odd . bi that time av took my foot of the accelarator. and the engine M lite flashes could this be a prob with my map . or n75 valve. or to do some were with fueling. its only really happend since i put tip and upper boost hoses on can any 1 help or no why this is doing this thanks
 
The turbo is spooling up asking for more air/gases, if there is a boost leak then you will starve the turbo thus making the car judder. (i think:D)

The same happens with the original plastic bosch dv VAG supply.

Have you ran vagcom and tested the MAF, see what readings its getting?

What fuel are you using?
 
I knew they were not going to honour the warranty because of the modifications

but hang on though, you were getting multiple issues though, as put in your other thread just yesterday

this is what you wrote

..1.. some thing to do with the knock sensor
..2.. supradic misfire in all 4 cylinders
..3..low volt. in maf
..4.. somthing to do with pinking. and there was a few more things cant mind thou after seeing that

those are some quite serious issues

As I said you need to get the map looked at as well, as the fuel/air mixture is not right, you have issues with all your coil packs, the MAF sensor.....list goes on

most importantly you need to get some logs from vag com on what exactly your car is doing

time and time again, people come on with issues, and we all play a guessing game as to what it could be. If you worthy your pride and joy, then get an expert on it, get some logging done and this will pin point the issue and allow us further to help you out as we will have a better idea of what exactly is wrong with your car!!:rolleyes:

also stay OFF the boost, because if the car is pinking then this can lead to internal damage

you really need to get your car to a VAG specialist and get it sorted mate:)
 
i went to the place that done my map they said they dont no what i mean but running vag.com they said i need to no what i need read . take it that means blocks or so. any ifno ppl

well the probs i had yestaday they said it could be done to my maf .

am using shell v power every day more or less

as for vag specialist not sure were they r up hear

my m8 was wantint to rite me off cause i was p****d of way it cause hes moving away lol but i said no thats just like asking to knock over ma mum

the place that mapped your car dont know what you mean in terms of fault finding.....:headhurt::rolleyes:

oh dear. What was the name of the map and how much did you pay for it? was it from a proper VAG garage?

any decent tuner who maps VAG cars should know what VAG com is or at least what blocks to measure.....that is quite concerning/frightening if they dont know what they look for

so basically they have mapped your car, but dont know what to investigate or diagnose if there is a problem.......

only northern tuners I know of are

some may be quite a distance away, but it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run to get your car properly diagnosed

EDIT: I would replace all 4 coil packs if you are getting errors from all 4 cylinders too....thats quite unhead of for all 4 to go though.....
 
mine getting a judder at the moment under boost every now and again, had a ANOTHER new maf put on today as it was showing a low reading coming from the old one and was gettting now movement on the G/s reading on vag com,had traction light on and engine management light but both gone now with the new maf but still got a judder, gonna change coil packs an plugs i think

looking at around 80-120 for a set of coil packs

I went for the Hitachi bolt down ones, which were about £30 each at the time
 
these are the logs I do

003 and 020
115 and 031
118 and 032
002 and 114
030

measure two blocks each time and go out for a run, and save the data

this is then exported into an excel format

let us know when you have done the logs and I will give you a hand posting them up
 
well got the car back all is gd 2 coil packs went so the have been replaced thnaks for the help am still going to get logs done tomoorw thou. belsy get the car in get thoose packs changed i did put a smile back on mine . cheers samair and big eck spot on.. jamie to
