fitted my glass gromet today and got rid of the fabia rear wiper looks loads better i think and wont look like every other leon from the back few pics

good mod though. Are you planning on using something like Rain-X onthe rear window?

Considering how much spray you get on the back window from dirt on the road during winter I dont think its a good idea no matter how much rain x you put on.

i never use the rear wiper so got rid of it and yes i use rain x on there . hate how it leaves an half circle doesnt take long to wipe the windows clean when dirty .. never done it to be smooth other wise the stickers would not be there done it to not follow every one else like a lemmin lol

Dont know why people are so anal about the back window lol, what if your in a van? you got to make the most of 2. I did this on me saxo and wasnt keen you loose somthing i think, good job tho matey!

ive done this mod been like it for months now all i can say is top cheap mod and looks good to rear doesnt get that dirty anyway well done mate

yer i drive a van day in day out so really doesnt bother me it wouldnt bother me if my rear window was sprayed black ....

ive been toying with the idea of doing this as me rear screen wash pipe-thingy-me-bob has popped off so im going to dismantle the boot to fix that so mite just de wiper it.how easy is it to get off?whats needed to do it?

its really easy to get off mate take the 3 nuts off from the wiper motor remove the wiper and pull it out make sure you disconect the washer line from the pump by the washer bottle .. oh and the grommet was £31 lol

Or remove all the bits and silicone in a 25mm black gromet still looks good but costs about 25p but if u want absolute perfection dans way is the way
