Just a quicky, Can someone please confirm:

i. the CD changer was standard on the 210 & early 225 LCR's

ii when the CD changer was deleted from standard spec (2005 model?)

Doe sanyone have any documentation that would substanciate the CD changer was standard and not an option on our lasses 04 plate LCR

Seat UK are saying not covered by warenty as not a standard item???(one of many things I am arguing about with SEAT UK.:censored:

Sorry also can people who have had CD's and callipers (due to laquer pealing) replaced by warrenty post up along with age of car at the time.

bought my 52 lcr in 2005 n wass told by dealer that they came as standard on cupra n cupra r's. knowin how stealers minds work he prob feed me a load of:censored: have you try'd googling it:confused: the laqer pealing is a fault with brembo's same thing happened with my mate evo 6 when he decided to use it all year instead of just summer think it's got something to do with salt n grime on roads

Yes CD changer was deleted from 05 plates onwards. I looked at a 53 plate which had a changer and also an 05 and 55 (which i have) that do not have a changer.

Seat told me they stopped on the 05 models to help keep the cost of the LCR down.

Anyone got a broachure for the pre 05 LCR thus showing the CD changer as standard hey can scan for me

Had both front calipers changed on my 02 LCR, first one was easy to get replaced Lookers stockport did a claim to seat. Second was a mare A. N. Other dealer wanted to resray it then would not push Seat so I fought tooth n nail, in the end said car has paint warranty this is painted sort it or else and they did! So i would say chose your dealer wisely. My newer LCR calipers apear fine, so far!

we've had a 53' and a 54' plate Cupra R, both had the CD changer in the glovebox. deleted in the begining of 05', but should definatly be there for a 2004 model.

Seat have accepted their mistake and seem to be a little more interested in sorting out my warenty issues (that have fallen out of warrenty due to t0ss dealer.

Fingers crossed might get them all sorted soon i.e. before the end o the year, if we still have the car
