Just a little update re the Nime Boxes.

After we heard about the ABS issues (mentioned above), Tamer made a modification to the design of the module to suit Seats better. We know for certain that this new version works fine on Diesels (eg Cuprakitty) but we don't know whether anyone has used it in a Petrol yet (anyone here by any chance?). We have every reason to think that it should cause no further problems, but as Tamer said previously if anyone did get a problem with their ABS they could contact us for a full refund.

Also, as someone mentioned above, the box does indeed come with detailed fitting instructions.

If the modifications work for the LCR then alot of people are going to be very happy. If it doesn't then I can assure everyone of how quickly and without issue you provided my refund, excellent service!

ive bin using my aircon more just lately on my lcr..and recently i scanned my car and had the same 2 ABS faults logged...ive cleared them..but not looked to see if they hav returned yet..im pretty sure its must be down to the nime box. if they keep returning would i be able to send mine back for the new modification if this cures it too on the petrols?

Your fan SHOULD work (after a while), just at high speed (stop then start, stop then start). The fault is the mid speed fan that should continuously run when the air con is switched on.

Hot air suggests the system could require a re-gas... About £50ish to do at Kwik Fit and the likes.

I thought the fans would come on when using the aircon? Ran car yesterday temp reading 90 degrees and fans still did not come on. Perhaps I should take a trip to Kwik fit before I do anything else?

Yes (on a warm day) the high speed fan will pulse (on, off, on etc) and this is the sign of the problem. You'll hear it at a standstill at the lights/or in traffic.

If everything is functioning correctly the same fan should spin continuously but at a medium speed (not so easy to hear).

I had the same problem in my previous car (Golf V5) Fans did make quite an unusual noise and pulse. In the Leon have not heard fans pulsing and have checked fuses on top of battery and a all ok. I think i should go to Kwik Fit and get the system recharged and hopefuly everything should be ok.

Did not have any problems in the golf. My concern is that when aircon is on it is just blowing warm air. In fact it is colder using the econ mode (aircon off). Hopefuly a trip to kwik fit will give me cold air again!

Mines been like this for almost 2 years (I could of been longer i just didn't know what to listen out for before this), never caused me any grief. But then again, I don't use the air con very much at all.

Yeah I don't use the air con particularly. It does blow cold though when its on.
