Hope I am not hijacking this thread but visited GSF today and I asked to see the stock clutch and a R32 clutch.

On my provisional examination the bolt holes and dimensions appeared the same, the only difference was in the diaphram springs, which appeared stronger on the R32 clutch with a bigger hole in the centre of them. Maybe it requires the R32 bearing to be used with it, does anyone know if this fits the LCR?

Slave cylinder is the same flywheel will and should be interchangable but wont know for certain until I get mine done as it would appear there isnt a great deal of info on anyone doing this mod before now.
It was the same when i changed the front ARB for the R32 one no posts had been made to say whether or not it was possible but thankfully it was.

consider an audi tt quattro oe clutch

Any more updates on this guys, i am in the same boat as ye, slippy slippy, and would love to put in a TT or R32 clutch as a more cost effective upgrade.

TT clutch drops right in.. used it on LCR previously on a car with >300lb almost a year on and its fine still

I got a SACH'S organic clutch and a Jabbasport SMF.I plan on gettin a stage 2 REVO and a hybrid turbo and this was the best clutch that was recommened to me to take this kind of power and torque.Since getting it fitted about a month ago I have no complaints with it so far apart from the chatter from the SMF.

Did you notice any increase in performance from the SMF?

Ya I noticed alot better throttle response and the gear changes are alot smoother.I got a few others bits and pieces done to it aswell when I got the it fitted so they are prob adding to the throttle response and faster boosting. What have you got fitted to your's?

The SMF are really crap, due to the freakin noise they make, people really thinks your car is broken.. LOL... Common comment, "Is it supposed to sound like that"... "Yeeeees"....

I have a SPEC 4.2KG SMF...

i have a sach uprated clutch sinlge mass flywheel £860 noisey but good have 323FT/lb around that figure for 10 months no sleepy at all

The noise can be reduced, to near zero, if you remove the speedo calbe from the GB and over fill the GB with up to 1 litre of GB oil.
An Awesome trick
