So can you get us on the campsite?

Cool. Have you been before, Keith?

I'm on the same campsite as Empi5, but not in the exclusive area, just with all the plebs. And Germans

First time Paul really looking forward to it

What day are you going?

If we dont convoy down with you will meet up there for a few jars

Just waiting for Phil to get back to me with some details

I'm on the 10.40am Wednesday SpeedFerries sailing Dover-Boulogne - which Phil was going to get but was too late - mainly because they were going to get a second boat but haven't yet, so all the bookings for the planned two boats have had to be combined onto one - so it's full.

I was on Beauséjour last year and it's ok, am returning this year. As long as the weather is dry you'll have a great time.

Planning to drive down to Dover very early Wednesday morning to ensure I'm past the M25 before the traffic.

Excellent News Keith,

Ive emailed Guy at [email protected] to let him know, perhaps you can do the same.

Welcome to Team Cupra R ! Bought this graphic off Ebay

Oi, stop ignoring my compulsive messages about Generators ! ( did you see my thread about them )

Yeah, but I was just ignoring you :harhar:

I'm still on the case with the generator. The ones that you were talking about would be nowhere near powerfull enough to run a freezer plus other stuff.

I think that I have found the one that is going to be suitable. 5hp. 2.2kw with a 10.5 hour running time. Am just waiting for one to appear at the right price.

Pull your finger out then.

Get yer White Rabbit Racing sig up you know it makes sense.:funk:

On a more serious note is there something that we can contribute to the experience or have you and Phil covered everything?

Have a think and you Phil then we can start discusing details at Brands over the cheese and Port :drunk:

OK, looks like we're camping now! My plan worked! :D

I'm not taking a car, I'm going in my best mate's VX220T. I can see that changing though!

tbh keith, i think weve covered most things.

just the generator and the freezer to sort out, all the other bits weve already got in some shape or form.

So far my purchases are:

2 x Petrol Scooters - seemed like a good idea at the time but now having second thoughts due to the size of the bloody things.
1 x igloo ice box - the daddy of ice cooling
1 x windbreak
2 x solar power showers - im yet to be convinced that these work
1 x 6 metre flag pole, with flags and flashing lights to warn low flying aircraft!

anything else, we will just go to the Carrefour hypermarket.

Weve got enough cooking facilities to manage.

OK
So the most expensive item seems to be the geny maybe the 3 of us could chip in on this most expensive item? We could all get benefits from a co-owner set up and we could go for a reasonably good unit by splitting the cost, it appears to be a problematic quest to get the right piece of kit at a reasonable price what you think.

I agree we would definitly get the use out of it, my neighbour has offered to lend me his on the proviso that if some pikie knicks it i will give him £150, which i think is a fair deal, and its a decent generator, good enough for what we need...

Ive bugged Mart enough about them, so will just mention it in passing next, unless he reads this !

Phil
You could be honorary most respected keeper of the Team Cupra ‘R’ generator :worship: :worship: :worship: Being the camping queen, I hereby declare, as an equal member of ‘Team Curpa R’, that you will be bestowed this honourable position of ’Generator Keeper’. Any other member may request the use of the generator whilst in your care, albeit the cost of maintenance would be a team responsibility. All this shite means lets buy one between us. What do you think bud?

Where did your neighbour get this genny from, cause I've heard that all your neighbours are pikeys anyway:harhar:
