LED Daytime Running Light went yellow

Did anyone else have the issue with their DRL going yellow?

My right DRL went completely yellow while the other one is working fine with no issues.
The light is still working properly just the color went from white to yellow.

Is there any way to resolve this issue without replacing the whole headlight unit?
Also, is it possible to fit the new facelifted headlights to older models (2013)?

Someone else on the forum several months (or maybe it was a year ago) had their DRLs go yellow as well. How old is your car and how many miles has it covered? I know on the manual says LED will last the lifetime of the cars. Guess not! Your lenses also look a bit worse for wear or is it just dirty on the outside?

Car is mid-2013, 210.000km on the clock.
Lenses have some scratches and are a bit dirty at the moment.

Do you know if they got it fixed or got them replaced?

Unfortunately there was no solution in that thread either.
I am looking to replace the headlights if possible with the facelifted ones, do you know by any chance if they would fit in the 2013 model?

I replaced one of my headlights a few months ago and the new one shines white while the other side is more of a faded white.
The led strips deffo fade over time.
However yours and the linked thread have changed to yellow so suggests its some sort of fault with them.
My car's a 2013 and 120k on the clock and the old light isn't as yellow as yours.

Also I don't believe facelift lights will go on pre cars, i think it's been asked a couple of times on here

If I have read it correctly, with the right replacement parts, Wiring Skills and Coding Skills it can be done but it wont be cheap and I suspect there will be added complications with Component protection for other parts of the car.

You can get the DRL module separately. Looks like the LEDs have given up.
