helo everybody i am finkin of upgrading my turbo on the 1.8t for a k04 turbo but i ent sure wot other parts i will need. will i have to change any of these parts: injectors, down pipe, ex manifold, intercooler hoses, if theres anything else i will need please let me know please:).

tbh mate, its a lot of work and expense.. youd be far better going the k03 hybrid route.

stock manifold can be used then, though uprated is preferable.

same figures as ko4 stage 2 map is achievable with the hybrid.

your ko3s can be hybridised by cr turbos for circa 500quid

then youll need

lcr injectors
lcr maf
4 bar fpr
lcr tip and induction

fmic
lcr fuel pump

bends and joiners

custom mapping to suit

the full hybrid will pull you around 280bhp ish

can be done for 2-2.5k mapped and fitted

see jamiebennetts thread on his build.

also a thread on badger 5 page on ko3 hybrid

beat me to it

budget for 3k for the turbo, mani, fitting etc

this is not including the FMIC, exhaust etc though...its not cheap, but a very worthy upgrade

I am getting mine RR'd in September possibly if all goes well, so expect some results then
