hi all, had my leon 150 tdi remapped today by angel tuning, spot on! well pleased. 195 bhp its showing now, what a difference i recommend to anyone.
I'd be most interested in what figures a standard 150 gets from 60-100 and a remapped one from 60-100......
I am going to rolling road mine early October to see what difference the exhaust and filter has made before i put in the clutch and remap. I will try and do some 60-100 tests on a private runway before I get the remap done.

nice car jonjay,my fr 150 is standard,all i have fitted is golf r32 pedals,boost gauge & a jvc ice.i want to have a re map, these chips off ebay (the cheap ones) i am not fussed on fitting them ,cause i dont want ruin my engine

Not sure exactly what power it's putting out now (don't really care tbh), but it feels a lot faster and pulls a lot better right through the rev range.

Although I didn't time my car from 30-70mph in 3rd before it was remapped, I have timed it, roughly with the help of my gf, since the remap and it will do 30-70mph in 3rd in under 7 secs, which it bloody quick.
There was a hothatch group test in Evo mag back in Feb and the 30-70mph times I have got in my car compare very favourably with the modern hothatches, IIRC.

It certainly hasn't had a negative effect on my fuel ecomony, most companies who do remaps claim improved fuel ecomony but i haven't noticed any improvement tbh, the biggest on my fuel ecomony is where I get my fuel from, eg BP ultimate or tesco etc.
Yeah i'd seen a couple of claims of improvements - which to be honest i was struggleing to believe. As long as it's no worse then it's all good.
Funnily enough, i have been noticing differences in where i fill up. Not had car long, but so far my car seems to like shell. Filled up with std BP last week and it didn't seem to like that at all.

Mine has improved on fuel when driving it at legal speeds. probably gone up by 50-60 miles per tank.

Hi pal, power is geat! smooth remap & just keeps pulling. Cost £270 in total. Got a few mates round at the same address so he did it abit cheaper. Think ts usually £300 but u would het 10% defo anyway

not sure on economy yet, although going to work this morning i was getting slighty better than normal. I`ll have to see how i go over the next few weeks. That right foot is abit heavy at the mo! i`m excited ha
I need to get some times for in gear performance done.
I think 30-70 in 3rd for me is under 6 seconds now - that's probably my best gear for that kind of performance. I think 60 to 100 in 4th is around 8 seconds now. I love tuned TDI performance in gear - If only they could get decent 0-60s as well.

Same hear davey, though i am forced now to use V-Power as my local shell only sells that for some strange reason..i will see how that goes.
mines just a standard 150 apart from GREEN PANEL FILTER AND IT LOVES SHELL VPOWER diesel really notice a difference from other diesels pulls better and this is the 3rd tank i am on and it is looking like i will be getting over 600 miles to the tank around town yep 600 miles have got 270 recorded on trip at this moment and the computer reackons i have gto 370 left the fueld gauge is just slightly below 3/4 full and is pretty accurate
I average 630+ on a good week when i behave myself. Otherwise i normally see 580 ish. Not bad for a car with just under 200bhp.
