Just got my FK big loop arb through the post, is this a simple job to fit it? Or am i better heading to a garage? If a garage then what kind of prices should i be expecting? I dont fancy getting ripped off so wanted to get some idea first

Thanks chaps

Car is a 2003 leon cupra 180 AUQ

From what I've read.
Support body.
Loosen rear subframe bolts.
Place jack under subframe.
Remove front subframe bolts.
Lower subframe 20 - 30mm enough to get ARB thru.
Unthread old ARB and replace with new.

Sounds easy although I've never done it.

Ive bottled it, talk of subframes has scared me into booking it at the garage, 2 hours labour then back home to be dropped to the floor, results tomorrow :)

The only thing im unsure about is the standard plastic droplinks?

Will they just move with the new big loop anti roll bar and be uneffected by a big dose of lowering?

Will they be under more stress?

Or will they simply get to a point and then stop any further lowering?

Im unsure about what physically happens to them when you lower the car

Thanks in advance

I wouldve thought an hour too to be honest after looking at the guides, id do it myself but dont have the balls to pull apart my subframe.

Yea this garage is £30+vat
