Leon Cupra Tdi whining noise

I have a 54 plate Cupra TDI with 45000 on the clock.Recently I have noticed a whining noise when driving at higher speeds over 40mph.I am guessing it is a wheel bearing as the noise is still there when you depress the clutch and also the whining decreases as the speed decreases. No whining noise is noticeable when driving below 40mph

I have owned several VAG cars previously and never replaced wheel bearings at that mileage.

Do you think it is wheel bearing or possibly something else?Seems to be no other issues when turning or anything.

What do you think?
