On the same train of thought, why put it back in?

Personally I think it's to do with noise reduction as I have noticed a bit of extra whistling when the engine is cold.

I will pop it back it later and see.

Popped the bonnet tonight to take a quick gander, I couldnt even see where the air box is

Can someone tell me?, pics will help

Once you find it you will need a philips screwdriver. Righty tighty, lefty loosy

*clue* it takes air from the front grill and there are fat pipes.

Cupra seems to be a completely different setup to the TDi's. Your intake runs up the right then under the reaer of the engine cover.

Yep its weird, also nothing in the handbook about changing the air filter

The Cupra has no air filter, it eats bugs for breakfast, they're full of power don't you know lol

Must be in there somewhere!
