Leon TDI Cupra / FR tuning box / chipping

Just got my Leon TDI cupra, what a great car.

Looking to get it chipped or a plug in tunning box

Anyone done it?

Is it worth it?

Wolud you reccomend a chip / re=mao or plug in box?

There a German chap on ebay selling the boxes for £35 ish, anyone used these? seems cheap for +30 bhp

Search for 'TDi Remap' and I promise you'll find this same question asked and answered more times than you could count. There is a wealth of information on this forum already, so have a good search and read and you'll find all you need to know.

Then, if you have a specific question that's not been asked before, post back with that and somebody will know the answer

Dont buy a tuning box !!!

Save up £300 & get a proper remap - much better (& safer).

The tuning box will only over fuel your car, so will produce lots of smoke - a remap will be a LOT better

Get a remap done, i have upsolute on my car, its superb, the power is great, MPG's stay nice and high, no smoke and touch wood nothing has gone wrong.

Don not get a tuning box, i have had issues with one on a golf!
