I wouldn't say the LCR was 'chav' just yet, it will be some day. I have seen some little sh*ts driving them here and there but nothing like on the scale of, say...the MK IV Golf GTi. People buy what's in reach of their budget, don't forget with all that fraudualent benefit money they have, they've all traded in their Astra GSi's for Civic Type R's, save a couple of grand more and you've got yourself an LCR.

yea have seen it a few times looks pretty smart, and he dont look to old, has he got any other mods of the subject??

hes 24 i think. The mods up to now what hes done are miltec hi flo race cat,non resonated 3inch pipe and back box,bmc carbon fibre air filter, samco boost pipes and vacumes, bailey d type twin piston dump valve, race thermostat, iridium spark plugs, powder coated wheels white, full tints, hids 8 or 10k power is 260bhp 310lbft.

Got a picture on my phone i will try upload it later.

i've seen one or two leons tarted up in god-awful ways. Had my LCR mk1 for 2 years and love that i still rarely see other ones and when i do i usually get a nod/flash etc. I think insurance on the r will put off the chavs. I'm sure if they could afford it they'd go for a CTR anyway due to their reputation. I love the understated feeling of keepin mine totally standard apart from my revo upgrade and bits and bobs around the engine. how it frustrates those honda owners. Plus when polished up and gleaming to me they're still one of the best looking hot hatches out there, despite their age.

Don't think there's too many chavs with a Leon and am certain there are a LOT more with Ibiza's or is that beefaz?

We're a young family and I managed to convince the Mrs that the LCR would be a practicle family car for us and also a good car for me to use daily for work! Haven't modified it too much as yet as we bought our house a couple of years ago and all my money has gone into that!

im 19 and drive the fr150 which is mapped and im starting to mod it tastefully, just because us young drivers are buying seats doesnt make us so called "Chavs". the recless drivers are usually the older ones! When your paying £260 a month on car insurance i think you look after your cars dont you!

same boat as you, got mine when i was 19, 20 now but insurance was £1250, paid in one go,

everyone thinks ive nicked my dads car!
