loss of power/ smoking exhaust???

just had my flywheel and clutch changed at 30k, but just now as i was bringing the altea home noticed a total loss of power and lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. any thoughts?

Boost pipe off? What colour is the smoke?

took it back to the mechanic, and he said it was indeed the turbo pipe which had become disconnected, very good. are you a VW mechanic?

p.s judging by how slow the car was going without turbo power, makes you realise that these things are turbo charged to within an inch of their lives!
