Yeah thats the one....

Just make sure its got a port in it for the lambda probe..

All u want it for idealy it to pass the emmisons then u could get de-cat

u could alway get a pipe flange made up so u can easyly swap it over for mot ect

After much thought im doing a de-cat with mine since the cat is over £400 and de-cat is only £200

and now have the worry of it failing...

just going to get an exhaust place i no to weld on a flange so i can change it mot time

only thing is does the de-cat always bring up a eml light because of the second sensor..??

I assume it wont do any harm if just left and having the eml light turned off before i can get it mapped out..?

Have always said to people to get 200 cel sports cats not 100 cell cos if theres something wrong with the car a 100 cell one will fail as its on the legal limit as it is.

Lesson learned id say mate

my blueflame cat died!! and its quite new!! gna cost me ££405! wtf!! :( well upset!! got the system inspected from power engineering !! dunno what to do now? order a new blueflame cat? or just die?

Check that non of your sensors have gone. As apparently if sensors are slightly out, your car is chucking more fuel than it should be through the engine and down the exhuast, and this can ruin the cat. I had a new cat on, and a few months later it was ruined all because of stupid sensors not working correctly!

i emailed the guy selling the 200 cell sports cat on ebay...and asked him if there was a port for the lambda probe...

he wrote back this morning saying 'I can TIG weld a stainless 02 Sensor port in for you. £10 extra for each one you want (inlet and outlet)' ?

what sould i say to him? and where do i need them welded? inlet or outlet or both? and is a 02 sensor port the same as a lambda probe port :S

Before making any changes I would defo try having a drive first. My old Twin-Cam failed emissions and the garage just left it ticking over for a bit until hot, gave it a good rev'ing and then tested it again. Passed a treat.

the sports cat arrived but cant be fitted cos its got a 2.5" inlet and my downpipe for my blueflame is 3" im really sad :( thanks guys!

We have 3" 200 cell cats in stock and can weld it for you. £185 + Vat all done with the cat.
