Oh well, in the market for some glass now after some kids (I presume) chucked a golf ball through the drivers side rear window.

bit of a pisser, and I'm glad that there's a dispersal order in my area, so there's no groups of kids, else I think I'd go on a **** kicking exercise.

they probably been stabbed outside new look by now, thats what happened to the last group of scrotes that were in northampton when i was there......

One of my neighbours has a dented bonnet from where someone's jumped on it, and another has their hyundai covered in dog ****.

Some pissed up kids I suspect... the neighbour who's bonnet is dented is seathing.... he will kick someones teeth in tonight I suspect

Glass ordered, could be fitted today, but I'm at the hospital all day instead.

So they're coming out tomorrow morning.

They did put the caviat in that if it could be repaired, then that's what they'll do, so I told them to bring a big tube of superglue, and to be good at jigsaws

Direct Line / Autoglass get a thumbs up from me.

called me at 9am saying they had (the right) glass in stock & can they fit it now? I'd just got to the hospital with Lorna, so put them off - they said "how about this evening?" booked 5-7.

However, I'm back early as all went well & called them up & he's coming out.

MIght be water tight by dew point tonight!

Much better than my previous employers then, i was forever apologising to customers and trying to find out why people hadn't turned up. I worked for RAC Autowindscreens

The Autoglass guy turned up, and did the lot in the dark - replaced all the hinges, and handle at the rear, all new bolts too.

Hoovered it up 'enough' and was done quickly.

Well happy. Might go for a run out tonight to 'dry' it out a bit

You're missing the point - this isn't my 'car' this is a method of getting to work

Changing to plastic would just limit it's appeal for when I sell it in about 4 months.

new engine mounts and semi fixed zorst now, but dont think that knocking will ever fully go, just the way it is!

15mm with standard bolts?
stopped using my 20mm spacers due to issues with bolts and stud conversions. maybe I need to get some 15 or 10mm ones and use the standard bolts if they are long enough?
