Get this as a stop gap, with the bits you have spare it'd be great.

Well, there's a split in the boot skin behind the bumper. Not daylight, but you can see it.

Anyway, they'll be "in contact" at some point to sort a settlement

However, I picked up my Rental car today. £0 excess... so I care even less about this one.

Shame that it'll be parked outside ken's house for a bit, but I've lucked out (again) and have a Mondego ST TDCi 153bhp 295lbft overboosting DIEsel. I just went out to 'test' it - and I can report that it's going to get a hard life...

haha last time i got a courtesy car it was a 1.0 litre panda that had speed wobble when I was passed by other cars! Wish they had given me something with some guts!!

amusingly my insurance company is on both sides....

They're going to settle "cash in lieu" so the car won't even be on the register.... but I still want to get shot - because I 'need' something else

not a lot.... lock needs repositioning & some small paint where it's cracked... it won't be 'as new' but it'd mean you can shut the boot without slamming it.

Insurance are obviously going to base their quote on fixing everything (including the inner boot panel)

I was going to sell it anyway... I just fancy something else. I do low miles in the work car so mpg isn't an issue.

I've even consider a 4.0 V8 Lexus (since they're like a grand)
