MAF, Coil or Throttle body

Hi all,

Getting my head into a spin, been reading soo many posts.

I've had my 2001 Cupra for 7 weeks now, very good....\

Have replaced the engine temp sensor (from Black to Green) and put an uprated DV Valve (Audi TT 225 one) due to x2 fault codes, also had oil, filters changed in last week.

In the last week I have started to experience a lumpy idle in the car.

When starting from cold it's lumpy for a couple of minutes till warm, then no problem......

If I've been driving around (50+ mph) and come to a junction the revs drop from normal idle (800rpm) to about 500rpm every 5 - 10 seconds.

It's there if hot or cold, thoughts on the problem, MAF, Coil pack or throttle body clean?

With thanks,

Whitey

typically all been fine since posting here lol, but I've a friend with VAG.com so will see about MAF readings (is it obvious if there are low readings?).
I'll also get some cleaner for the throttle body as I want to try Halfrauds for some custom touch up paint.

Best,

Just to keep informed, gave the throttle body the full works cleaning wise, OMG what a difference it makes to the way the car drives!!

Cheers all!

Hi guys, I'll proble give my TB a clean aswell, but I have a 1.8 20v non turbo engine, so is my throttle body just the bit after the maf?

I recently had this headache :(

Did all the above to no avail

Turn out to be my 100 cell cat was the problem. So after getting a wicked price of Nigel at blueflame I put my 200 cell on and problem solved :)
