had this before you need to use a vacuum pump on all bleed nipples start at nsr osr nsf osf this work for me ok

Done that, twice! And again with the Ezibleed on the master cylinder at the same time... 3 litres of brake fluid later & no change. Drive the car, start to brake gently, hellish hissing from near the peddle then the peddle goes rock hard & then it needs a REAL shove to stop the car. ...

hissing from near the peddle is servo seal is faulty you need new one just check master cyl is not leaking into the servo this will rot the seals in the servo giving this fault

Apologies if I've missed this somewhere, but what exactly needs to be done in VAG-COM regarding the ABS? I've just got my Brembos refurbished today and the pedal action isn't great, not compared to before. It feels quite a bit spongier, although it does brake OK. We've bled the callipers and the master cylinder as the guides explain. I'm thinking it may be something to do with the ABS because it kicked in today under hard braking when it wouldn't have done before, so either I was on a slippier-than-usual surface, or there's something else at play?
