My Ibiza previously had cruise control fitted and still has the hardware to support this (cruise controls on headlight arm), however the ecu became water damaged and had to be replaced meaning the software was lost. Is it possible to map this into the new ecu so my cruise control works again? could this be done with vagcom?

Cheers,
Greg

im pretty sure its a case of telling your ecu that the car has cruise control via vagcom... im not sure how, but there would be threads detailing how. Else someone else might have some more details..

Log into the engine ecu using vag-com then go to 'Login' and type 11463. That will then activate it.

Would this be the same when using the VAS (guessng spelling) diagnostic machine at Audi? I dont have vag-com but my mate is an Audi technician and he uses the VAS to diagnose faults on my car etc.

Thanks for the help guys :D
