yea after 6 long weeks turbo technics finally finished it lol,

no mate head was lift on, fitted the turbo to the mani then fitted the mani to the block, bulkhead was modified shall we say haha and yes the studs were modified a wee lil bit lol
Blimey its difficult enough to find space to fit the mani in position with the head still on let alone with a turbo attached to it.:)
Did you need to remove much from the stock heatshield(that the charge pipe brackets fit to) or was it ok.

Sorry its been so long ppl but I now have some money to do some more bits including new clutch and smf plus remap :)

And happy to report the 2nd relentless I got is still going well, no problums yet :)

well another update, relentless mani no.2 has warped so have now scrapped that and gone for a JBS high flow cast iron mani which im going to be fitting soon also have finally got the money together for a new clutch and SMF woohoo so not long till we finally see what this hybrid turbo pushes out :D

Was the relentless a V3 mate or V2? Has it been fitted with a turbo support bracket?

What clutch and SMF you going for? Front end will look great once resprayed. :)

Martin the only way it can warp is, the bolts are not tight enough. In all my time at relentless we have had 5 v2 crack (some without support bracket) and 1 warp, yours. Not being funny i think this is down to bad installation as your first manifold has a big dent in it where the stud was pressing on it, meaning the flange would not go tight as it should against the head. Could be same issue on this one??? Did you grind down the stud that catches the runner this time?

the 2nd mani was fitted by a different company so it cant be that 2 companies didnt bolt up the mani's tight enough surely ?

i did pass on your notes to the 2nd place before fitting and they did as instructed
