Matrix Led Headlight Upgrade is Possible?

Hello everyone,

I have my22 Cupra formentor.
I want to upgrade my standart led headlights to matrix led ones.

Anyone tried it before?
Is it possible?

The headlight ECU’s are same for both?
Any need to also upgrade this ECU unit?
And, sockets are same for both headlights?
Or any other upgrade requirements?

The camera is the same as is used for lane assist/traffic sign recognition/high beam assist

There are other changes but it's not a difficult job for a specialist such as ourselves

So I tried to fit it and I run into some issues. I cant find this adaptation in the 09 BCM module:

|I just need to know where I can deactivate the old light assist in 09 which was there before, because it seems that it is conflicting somehow with this new matrix one. I guess that this is also the reason why gateway getting this "1049110 - Hybrid Databus" error. I do have a VCDS orig adapter and clone for ODIS.

Update: In the meantime I uploaded the dataset file and the error for missing dataset in B4 module disappeared. But I still cant run basic settings. My guess that the reason is the same as I describe above. What do you think ?

OK I think I found the adaptation for changing the headlight units to have it handled by external 4B module. Unfortunately I'm not able to adapt it. Getting "out of range" error even though SFD is unlocked. Any help? Im not able to change value for those:

09 contains parameters for FLA at hex address 7202

If you don't already have FLA then you won't have the required license to allow it to function

If its any help my VZN with Matrix headlights had to have a headlight software update and the dealer struggled with the update as the car wouldn`t accept it they initially struggled even with advice from contacting the factory, it took a couple of days but it was then successfully completed.

guys, I have a full Formentor plugin 245cv but without the Matrix (they weren't yet available when I ordered it) and the new assisted overtaking function that was added on the my23 with the same set-up as mine;


Could you provide a list of everything I need to retrofit the Matrix? surely we need odis since the simple obd11 cannot be enough?!
