Might be one for @East Yorkshire Retrofits on whether your unit based on the VIN can be enabled. They did have an interface arrangement where if you buy xxxx they can program the unit if its just missing FeCs but if something more then those interface boxes of one kind or another. I know Skoda people had been fitting Chinese units into mib1s which gave them AA. Kept the mib1 but interface to give AA. Depends what your VIN releases.
