Milltek Leon FR/Cupra TDI system

Sorting out an exhaust - very quickly before stage 2 remap next week.

I know what to go for, but just style of tail pipes is the query.

Founds pics of the 'jet' anywhere and everywhere, but cannot find the 'discreet'
one anywhere - searchs plus google...

Sarah from Awesome says the discreet faces down - is that true, then no way!!!

also the Jet tips look larger than o/e - please tell me that there's no cutting!!!!

a quick response would be really apreciated - need to order today...

discreet are floor facing tailpipes

the jet tip more than likely will be slightly larger than o/e but nothing wrong with getting rid of the exhaust gases a bit quicker.

there shouldnt be any cutting needed if youve got the cupra R kit.

why the hell would anyone bother with the discreet kit!?

btw its for a LC TDI.

the discreet kit if for those that dont have an exhaust hole in the rear bumper

my old polo didnt have one so i had to have it cut and my current mk1 leon bumper does'nt have an exhaust hole

iirc the lc tdi rear bumper shouldnt need cutting... are you getting twin pipe or oval tip?

Sarah at awesome said delivery not through today - no jet tips.

As remap on Wednesday have saved myslelf £300 odd

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

Should be on there for the remap so.... forget it

I will try elsewhere though as a last resort

Need it by mid day Tuesday.

Thanks for the thought but I now appear to have things sorted.

Googled, Milltek and went down the list.

Spoke I.C.J. Performance in Chelmsford - all VAG stuff - all parts in stock.

I've missed the courier but 'Chris' is going down to do a Parcelforce 24hr jobby - plus another tenner. He's going down there with it.. now!!!!

Will wait and see for Monday. to Mr Parcelforce... fingers crossed etc.

... are you getting twin pipe or oval tip?

its either discreet (twin 50mm) or jet (twin 76mm) on the TDI's. They do not have an oval for us TDI's yet.

I got a magnex as I could not wait for a miltek due to the connector pipe being out of stock. Really impressed with the magnex it sounds fab and lots cheaper than the miltek too.

Powerflow It won't add any power, it won't add that much noise ... it will just look 'better
' and give a slightly nicer sound

Might fit my Milltek this weekend for the FR. Got it on the cheap as it was for a 1.8t Cupra, got a reducer sleeve made up by Milltek which came earlier this week so might have a play tomorrow.

Yes they did. Parcelforce turned up next working day @ 8.15AM

Faith has been restored in them!

Those guys at ICJ have got some competitive prices on there exhausts.. think i might get my milltek from them.
