I was wanting one for my ibiza fr 1.8t mk4 which do you guys recon is the equillivent ?

Check the Haynes site for engines covered by this workshop manual, then if necessary check the Leon one (if it exists) or the Golf (model to suit roughly your car build date) - think ahead! (next car)

Hey! It covers the turbo'd 1.9 diesel that's not a bad mk4! i'd guess the FR 1.9 TDi is one of the more popular mk4's

Haynes manuals aren't as comprehensive as they used to be IMO.

We had a haynes manual for our toyota previa and it was a god send the most part, apart from when we took out the passenger seat to get to the engine, only to realise that we needed to take out the drivers seat because they had a LHD previa for their photos!

I think Haynes manuaks are useful especially with circuit diagrams etc. £20 is a bit steep (especially if you have an 02 mk 4 and have been waiting 8 years!), and they could have tries to include more engines from the range.

Retail price of Haynes manuals has been £19.99 for a while now.

Most places discount them.
