mk 4 induction noise help

i just recently bought a pipercross induction kit for my fr pd 130 and when sat still and rev the engine sounds sweet however when the revs drops there is a funny noise from it any ideas

not sure i have a K&N on my pd 130 FR and its good not over the top etc but as u accelrate u can here the Turbo Wistlein quite nicely and is spot on.

Pipercross are made of diffenent materials i have had them before on other cars (petrol) but i found the sound was just a bit saggy and flappy (wet fart)

its all down to personal pref.

Not tro sure on your sound? what sort of " funny sond" is it ??

mine hisses whisstles and dump noise..love it! dumping 30psi pppssstssshhh

the deiselengine sounds a bit course when low revs induction jusst ampilfies it.

why not just get a nice woshy dump valve!!!

Coz i dont think they make a difference on the diesel's. Money better spent on other mods

when i put a pipercross V.I.S kit on mine (cupra 180) it done the same it was like it sounded sweet when you revved it but wen the revvs dropped a pulsating hiss happend really loud so i changed mine for a viper and had no more probs. I think its just the echos travelling through iduction pipes from the noise of the turbo or dumpvalve?
