Hi Guys

I took some pics of my AWE vent boost gauge that i installed over the weekend. Im really happy with it so far, its boosting to just under 15psi. The lighting matches the Leons dials at night perfectly with white numbering and red needles. Let me know what you think?

Thanks :D

PS how do you post pics into the thread page without having to put a link to another sight? I read the FAQ and didnt quite understand, i see some guys post pics in the threads and others a link to the pics? Anyway i hope this works!

details of how to buy and where etc please !!

Hey peeps

Glad you like it. The gauge is actually meant for the Audi A3 completely circular vents (No flat bottom with open/close dial). It took some designing of a new bezel to mount and hold the gauge in properly. For now all i can say is the gauge is quite expensive. Its from a tuning company called AWE Tuning, the service was excellent and delivery time not too long. Ill put some more details up on how i made the bezel and fitting etc when i get the time. Here is the link:

The ST is my bros car. I stay in Gauteng, South Africa so i think thats why the plates might look alien. The vent works 100% (just no direction control). The 3 slots around the bezel let the air through and it works beautifully. The nice thing about the AWE gauge is that the instructions are for Audi A3s but the motor is so similar it works on the Seat turbo also. When i ordered the gauges i bought 2, 1 for my dads A3 (which is installed and working) and mine is in my Cupra now.

I like that a lot, as you say looks factory quality. Group buy?

Reading up on it, it would require a tap off a boost pipe somewhere for the guage to get a reading? Surely it can be picked up from the OBDII point so no mechanical hookup is required? The LCT unit picks up boost and does various other items (on the MFD if you have it) for another $90. However it does look very nice.

A real boost guage does have many merits over an electronic on though :)

Its easy to tap in, especially if you have the forge DV.

Nice! does it not distract you atall? looks like it gets in the way a bit

To be 100% honest... no mate. I think I would be more distracted if I would have to turn my head to one side to see the boost gauge.

To be 110% dumbass, think your gauge looks tacky and cheap, it is IN THE WAY and how bout you get your own thread and not hijack other peoples? If you jealous over a proper boost gauge install then just ask for help! Its not too difficult to make your own thread, its the button that says "new thread" . I'll even help with the name TACKY CHEAP BOOST GAUGE INSTALLED . . . IN . . . . THE. . . .WAY!
