just got in took all the wheelsheilds out and jet washed all the crap off them and cleaned all the brakes up and scrubbed all the sheilds clean looking good am going away for the weekend on a p155 up with all the lads cnt wait to get stuck in on monday
all the wheelsheilds have been removed and all the brakes suspension and arches have been cleaned with a jet washer made a mess ofthe drive lol got the bumper hanged on (front/rear) just gotta get the exterior repaired/welded and resprayed which i hope will be done in the next two months
well it looks like it does in the picture havent had a chance to touch the car tonight as i didnt finish work till it was dark! but have got a pannel beater coming round mine on thursday to look at all the damage dents and rust and will give me a mates rate to fix it all then after this is done will get the car booked in for respray then will hit the interior
looks spot on rash and good car to go for, im looking at the mk3 polo's or mk2 for little runabout and something to play with and restore. i actually think you will enjoy this more than the ibiza. keep the good work up mate. that the 2.0 16v? didnt read through first pages as was looking for the pics!
na the 1.8 16v ive falen in love with this car really loved the drive home apart from the squeeking alternator belt but i was going to try and make some money on this but that idea has gone right out the window now i want it as my everyday car always prefered vw's specially the old skool 1's! just trying to buy some g60 arches PRICEY! nearly as much as the flamin car cost! watch this space gaz as things are going to be getting very shiney soon with the respray
