I noticed a build up of oil on the bottom intercooler hose on my 2007 2.0 140bhp Leon, is this usual? The car doesnt seem to be using excessive amounts of oil if any. Should oil be running through this hose? See my photos, pipe number 9 in parts list.

This is blow-by, fairly normal to see some, but it when you disconnect the hose anything more than a drip or two comes out then that could be signs of other issues.

Thanks ive ordered some new seals and will change them next wkend. If theres more than a drip is it likely to be a turbo fault?

When I took mine off there was more than a few drips. So far everything seems fine(fingers crossed ). Think the oil comes in from a breather hose from the top of the rocker cover then gets sucked in through the turbo. Just what I think from following the pipe work
