Mk2 Leon Double Din Facia options

Hi, I've searched quite a bit round here for fascia information regarding a double din head unit upgrade. Has anyone used the one available from caraudiosecurity.com:

I pick up my 2.0 TDI Ref Sport this weekend and wanted to know if anyone has used it and if it fits ok. Also the colour is described as a Anthracite finish which I'm hoping will match the interior spec.

well the pic for the altea and toledo ones are shaped for LHD cars. you would need to email them them to find out. Alternativly seat actually produce a double din plate for the sat-nav option. (they do for the altea, so assume they do for leon too)

Just had a look at the manufacturers site and its uk based so don't imagine it to be wrong sided. Anyway cheers, will see if I can get Sat Nav fascia from the dealer, hope it dosen't take long and will fit any double din stereo:

Seat Part number 1P2 858 071 AN87. Retails at £7.19 + VAT

...On the other hand I just realised it doesn't come with a mounting cage for a double din head unit. So looks like I may give it a go:

long time for delivery

I ordered one of these double-din fascia adaptors from caraudiosecurity.com on 26th August ready in time for when my new Leon Cupra was delivered in September. I am still waiting on delivery of the adaptor. The guys at caraudiosecurity.com say that Connects2 (the manufacturers) havn't got them in yet. For such a new car, I would have thought that they would have had they product ready. Without this adaptor I can't install my £1500 Pioneer AVIC HD3BT head unit along with DVB tuner and subwoofer.

I asked connect 2 about a rhd version for my altea. Thay are currently still trying to source them, yet, the lhd version is advertised forsale without mention it wont fit our cars.
