Alx Chung recommended me a Neuspeed Torque Engine insert so i spoke to Awesome about it

Theve said that its not recommended on the PD170,Vibrations are quite bad so theve said fit a SuperPro one instead

Superpro one will be fitted tommorow so will give a verdict, Superpro one is also cheaper :D

Bit Late :cartman:

I finally got a Neuspeed MK6 Golf GTI one fitted

At first the vibrations where quiet harsh but it settled down quickly, After a few months its settled down to much

Been looking at the VWR Solid Subframe mount now and VWR are only round corner from my new house :cartman:

I had the other THS mounts fitted earlier this month, (sourced from JKM) I was booked into Awesome for the Helix Clutch kit. Decided to get the engine and gearbox mounts done at the same time. :)

Got to say its been very worthwhile doing, positive effects all round with less vibration and better handling, more grip and better performance, now the engine isn't waving around everywhere. Good value for money too.

There was actually more cabin vibration with just the dog-bone mount fitted and stock mounts, now its all up-rated it compliments the car and is much more solid to drive and dare I say safer, the power is better controlled. Highly recommend doing all the mounts if you can.

I don't know what effect full poly mounts would have, but the THS are very good with up-rated stiffer rubber inserts. Definitely worth doing if your remapped!

Just fitted some BSH mounts, Gearbox, Lower mount plus Engine Mount.
Vibrates like crazy. will it go away ? I am thinking on changing the Engine mount back to the stock mount and keep the gearbox and torque mounts BSH, what do you guys think ?

Car: Seat Leon FR 2.0TFSI 2008

Whats peoples experience with them? Want to eliminate a bit of wheel hop but don't want alot of vibration or noise.

Thinking of the BSH insert from here - http://dubtek.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=262

Its easy to fit and not very costly.

I take it this fits the my car ok as seen other versions for 2008 onwards.

The newer one is listed below, as are other manufacturers.

I have full BSH and the vibration has became a lot less but, its kind of still there, are performance mounts really necessary at stage 1 or 2 ? I have not yet mapped my car.

Anyone using powerflex PFF85-704? It's engine torque insert. Is there any vibration increased?
