Its scarily easy. One small allen bolt at the front of the front seats and then just slide them off the back of the runners. Rear seats, the bases are held on with two bolts each and the back are held with a sorta circlip on the hinged bit.

You still running standard seats too Owen?

Yeah. But I think I'm just going to do the same as BigWill and darken the grey bits as much as I can. That should stop them staining as much, or at least make it less noticable.

Would be good to see a set of half leathers in there. You thinking on lowering at all?

The front seats aren't held in place by the little bolt, it just stops them sliding all the way back off the runners when you adjust it. Rears are pretty solid.

Nah can't afford to lower it and can't justify it to parents, I'd like to but maybe in the future

What if I did it and saved on the P&P? All £10 of it, or free if you get them from certain sellers on eBay :p I think it's getting to the point that Nicks showing us both up :banned:

haha its only just occured to me that as I have a 5 door and the seats are from a 3 door, I will have the whole 'lever to lean the chair forward' as well as passenger doors :D

That comes in very handy when you're wanting to chill. Fold the front seats forward, sit on the back seat and put your feet up on the back of the front seats. Most comfortable I've ever been in a car! :p

Spent the afternoon fitting these into the doors :) Just straight swap out with standard, in with these

EDIT: I say it was a straight swap but actually it was a PITA, the unit the standard speakers are in is much bigger than the new speakers and I couldn't separate it out so I had to do some 'homemade' adjustments and make it fit. I also then realised that I had put it in the way of the window closing so had to redo it, but it's all good now. Sound quality is not a massive improvement but an improvement nonetheless

Unfortunatly the half leather seat buy won't be going ahead as planned, some complications have arisen...(well one complication: my mother :D) It was a case of buy seats and pay rent, or don't buy seats and continue getting free food and board...I think in the grand scheme of things I chose the better option
