Mk3 1.4mpi Immobiliser?

what type of immobiliser is in the mk3 1.4mpi, i've searched and found this thread but i am unsure if the 1.4 and the cupra ahve different type of immobilisers.

My key has a transponder chip in it, so i'm assuming there is an immobiliser.

There is deffinately an immobiliser i know that much, however don't know of what sort. Could ring a dealer with your chassis number and i expect they'll be able to tell you

Rang the dealer, waiting for someone to ring me back :-/

Anyone have any idea? be much easier to find out on here.

Ok, am stuck on this, the dealer rang me back to tell me "its a factory fitted imobiliser"

no sh!t :-/

anyone abel to push me in the right direction, my google-fu is weak on this one
